HOW WE SEE TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT

WU PERSONAL: PIONEERS OF TRANSPARENCY

Founded in 2017 by Reiner Pientka and Ludwig Hank, wu personal GmbH builds on their prior roles as sole shareholder and managing director, respectively, of the former tecops personal GmbH, where in 2006 Reiner Pientka introduced an innovative pricing model with an interactive calculator that transparently showed both applicants and clients how much of the fee remained with the staffing service provider.

This transparent pricing model continues at WU, with a consistent calculation based on only 20% service costs.

At the beginning of 2024, Remo Pientka took over as managing director. He completed a dual degree in personnel services at the former tecops personal GmbH and subsequently earned his Master of Science in Management at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

He is supported by an experienced advisory board comprising Reiner Pientka and Richard Schlauri (including roles as Director Sales – Global & Large Corporate Accounts Germany at Dell and Director Services Central Europe at Apple Inc.).

The values and the name WU remain unchanged. They honour the Pientka family’s Chinese roots and emphasise the company’s multicultural character as well as its family-oriented culture.

Socially responsible and transparent from the very start.

WU has been awarded the EcoVadis Silver Medal and is ranked among the top 15% of internationally assessed companies over the past 12 months in the areas of labour & human rights, ethics, sustainability and related topics.

This recognition confirms our commitment to taking social responsibility seriously and to promoting openness and transparency throughout all our processes. We will continue to strengthen our standards and work towards measurable improvements in the future.
