APPLICATION TIPS

How to Apply Successfully at wu personal

A Successful Application in Just a Few Steps

A good application doesn’t have to be perfect. What matters most is that we get to know your qualifications and career goals. The more complete your application documents are, the faster we can assess which position is the right fit for you.

You can apply directly through our job portal or submit a speculative application. Our recruitment team will support you from the very first contact through to your first day in your new role.

What We Need for Your Application

In most cases, the following documents are sufficient:

  • an up-to-date CV (preferably as a PDF)
  • employment references, if available
  • vocational training or degree certificates
  • certificates and records of further training
  • current contact details

A covering letter is usually not required.

Please ensure that your CV is complete and includes your full address, including your postcode. This helps us identify suitable vacancies in your area more quickly. Whenever possible, upload your documents as PDF files. Image files (e.g. JPEG or PNG) make automated processing more difficult.

Particularly for IT positions, it is helpful to include specific information about your technical skills, the systems you have worked with and any professional certifications.

Feel free to download this Word template for your CV.

Tips for a Successful Application

A well-structured CV makes it easier for us to process your application. Please make sure it includes:

  • a complete employment history
  • your current telephone number and email address
  • clear details of your skills and qualifications
  • language skills
  • driving licence and willingness to travel, where relevant

The Interview

Prepare for your interview by reading the job advertisement carefully once again and researching the company.

If your interview takes place online, test your internet connection, microphone and camera beforehand. Choose a quiet environment with a neutral background. It is also helpful to have the contact details of your recruitment consultant available in case of any technical issues.

We wish you every success!
